Wetland Wildlife Lecture—More than Mosquitoes

Feb 2, 2019
7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Description

This presentation by Bruce  Kingsbury, Ph.D., director of Purdue Fort Wayne's Environmental Resources Center, is the final event of a day of activities for the community to celebrate World Wetlands Day.

If you are interested in attending, RSVP at erc@pfw.edu. This will also allow us to keep you informed about other possible events that evening.

The event will be held on the campus in room 185 of the Science Building.

Earlier in the day, folks can enjoy a wetland hike hosted by ACRES or a Wetland Bird Sit with Allen County Parks. Want to learn how a wetland is working to clean up our rivers? Visit Camp Scott for an informative hike hosted by the City of Fort Wayne. Want to get your hands dirty with wetland restoration? Join LRWP and INPAWS for a wetland plant propagation workshop. Events are spread across the day, and you can attend all events for a special prize at the end of the day.
