Public Meeting for Accreditation of the Graduate Program in Speech-Language Pathology

Description

The master’s degree (M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology) education program in speech-language pathology at Purdue University Fort Wayne is an Applicant for Candidacy by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, 2200 Research Boulevard, #310, Rockville, MD 20850, 800-498-2071 or 301-296- 5700.

As part of the CAA’s candidacy accreditation process, a public meeting regarding the program will be held during the accreditation site visit on February 24. All members of the public are welcome to attend this meeting to provide comments about the program to the site visitors.

Note that the meeting will start at 5:30 p.m. and continue until everyone has the opportunity to express their comments. The above ending time is an estimate only. If all comments are heard before then, the meeting will end earlier. If more time is needed, the end time will be later.

All public comments should relate to the standards for accreditation.  The Standards for Accreditation and/or the CAA's Policy on Public Comment my be obtained by contacting the Accreditation Office at ASHA, 2200 Research Boulevard, #310, Rockville, Maryland 20850, calling ASHA's Action Center at 1-800-498-2071, or accessing the documents online at http://caa.asha.org/
