Halloween is a scary time of year, but physics can be even scarier.
The Department of Physics will host its annual Halloween show for people of all ages. Physics students will present demos like the shocking Tesla coil and powerful ping pong ball cannon, along with 30 other presentations that excite and thrill. These demos will cover topics such as electricity, gravity, light, and sound.
Students will explain the science behind each demo and will answer any questions that the audience may have. The show is great for those interested in science and spooks. Free Halloween candy will be provided and costumes are more than welcome.
After attending this show, viewers will find that physics isn’t scary after all!
