Mental Health Day: Therapy Dogs

Oct 8, 2019
10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Description

Participate in our 29th Annual Mental Health Day activities around campus. Activities include the Resource Fair, a Spa and Therapy Dogs.

SOCIALIZE AND ALLEVIATE LONELINESS. REDUCE ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION. Boost your mood and your dopamine, the “feel-good” endorphin; visit the Therapy Dogs in the front lobby area. Studies show that dogs can help ease loneliness, reduce anxiety, stress and symptoms of depression as well as improve your over-all health.

Make time to visit the Resource Fair and Spa in Walb Union, Classic Ballroom and Room 114, respectively. At the Resource Fair, vendors will provide information about self-care, support systems, stress relief activities, depression screenings and more. When you enter the ballroom, check-in and receive a token for a sample from Core Life Eatery.

Be sure to stop in at the Spa in for chair massage therapy, aromatherapy, coloring stations and more. For more details about these activities, click the link below.
