Participate in our 29th Annual Mental Health Day activities around campus. Activities include the Resource Fair, a Spa and Therapy Dogs.
Reduce stigma. Raise awareness. Offer hope. The Resource Fair offers an opportunity to meet with organizations who offer support and bring awareness and hope for those dealing with mental health issues and their family and friends. Vendors will provide depression screenings and self-assessments; stress relief activities, information about self-care, support systems, STD and HIV/AIDS education and much more. Check in when you enter the ballroom and receive a token for a sample from Core Life Eatery.
Practice self-care. Empower yourself. Create lasting change. Make time for yourself; visit the Spa in Walb Union, Room 114. Experience ways to practice self-care in your every-day life: massage therapy, aromatherapy from Young Living Oils, coloring stations, and infused water. Sign-up sheet for the ten minute chair massage will be available outside the Classic Ballroom at 9 a.m. on the day of the fair.
Be sure to stop by the Helmke Library, front lobby from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and visit the Therapy Dogs.
