Lunch and Learn: Impostor Syndrome and the HolidaysNov 14, 2018
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
Bring your lunch and join us for this interactive presentation, Impostor Syndrome and the Holidays: Holding On and Getting Beyond.
Every now and then, we think things such as “I feel like a fake.” “It was luck.” “It wasn’t a big deal.” “Anyone can do that.” But what if those voices live inside your head all the time? Then you’re listening to the sound of Impostor Syndrome.
It is especially common among first-generation students and high achievers in academics, sports, and any other field. And it hits harder during the holidays, making feelings of anxiety and depression even worse.
This presentation improves your awareness of Imposter Syndrome, then helps you understand and address it in your life.
Presenter: John Kaufeld, MA,Social Media Manager at the Purdue University Fort Wayne. He is also a best-selling author and speaker, and author of the new book, "Bestselling Impostor" which will be released in 2019.
