Healthy Boiler Virtual Book Club: Take Care of Your TypeAug 26, 2021
3:30 PM - 4:30 PM
Do you know the best way for you to practice self-care based upon your individual personality traits? Even if you know and understand your personality type, you may struggle with finding the best ways to take care of your overall well-being. According to Enneagram expert, social media sensation, mental health advocate, and author Christina S. Wilcox, understanding your personality traits based upon the nine Enneagram types can help you practice better self-care.
Our book of the month for August is her book, Take Care of Your Type: An Enneagram Guide to Self-care, an illustrated and easy-to-read guide which offers self-care strategies for each of the nine Enneagram personality types. Using these strategies can help you tend to your needs in stressful times, feel more confident with your abilities, and foster relationships with other personality types such as your spouse, partner, and co-workers.
Many people have used the Enneagram Personality self-test to understand themselves on a deeper level. If you don't know your Enneagram type, you may take a self-test or just read the brief chapter descriptions for each type and you will see which type fits your personality the best.
Begin reading this book and join the Healthy Boiler Book Club which meets virtually on the last Thursday of each month to discuss the book. Led by health coach Lindsay Bloom, we will discuss ideas presented in the book and explore ways to integrate these ideas into our daily lives. Tips and ideas on health and wellness will also be shared. Open to all employees.
